These 4 shows, where teams compete for audience acclaim, have been a significant and recurring part of Sehar's improv journey.
From Smackdown, Montreal Improv’s former long-standing Friday night tradition, to the round-robin format of Threepio curated by Montreal Improv, to Battle of the Improv Stars brought to life by Vance Gillis (Mojo Comedy), and Friday Night’s Main Event skillfully orchestrated by James McGee.

House Teams
Sehar was a member of two house teams. Coached by Brent Skagford (The Bitter End, Easy Action, Assassin’s Creed) Night Bus (2013-2014) performances focused on Longform Montage, while Helmüt (2014-2016), coached by Marc Rowland (Easy Action), specialized in Harold and Narrative formats.

50/50
Produced by Vance Gillis/ Mojo comedy, 50/50 is a live, comedic experiment that’s half-scripted (actors) and half-improvised. Sehar has been a regular player on this show for many years (around 10 shows!) as both an improvisor and an actor.

International Ensemble (VIIF)
From 2016 to 2018, Sehar was a member of the International Ensemble at the Vancouver International Improv Festival (VIIF). The ensemble brought together outstanding local, Canadian and global improvisors who worked with renowned, dedicated improv directors to rehearse and showcase unique improvised formats like Melodrama and Hip Hop Improv, throughout the festival. Sehar had the opportunity to work with and learn from Jonathan DeMuth, Shaun Fisher, Rene Dellefont, Becky Johnson, Matt Folliott, Tom Hill, John Gebratatose and Vinny Francois.
Sehar was also invited to be part of VIIF’s Diversity and Inclusion Panels in 2017 and 2018.
I Love Love
Created and directed by Vinny Francois (Improv College), I Love Love explored love and relationships through a more dramatic improvisational format, departing from the conventional comedic style. Sehar was part of the founding cast, featuring a mix of local and international performers. The show first premiered at the Vancouver International Improv Festival in 2018, and later made its Montreal debut in the summer of 2019.

Improvised Soap Operas
Sehar was in the core cast of two improvised soap operas, As the Bagel Turns and Superhospital, both created and produced by Vinny Francois (Improv College). As the Bagel Turns revolved around the clashes, romances, secrets and betrayals within Montreal’s fictional bagel dynasties, the Fairmounts vs. the Saint Viateurs. Superhospital, a comedical drama followed the day-to-day interactions and mishaps among the staff and patients at Montreal’s newest hospital.

Coffee Break
Sehar was part of the founding lineup of Coffee Break (2014-2017), an improv troupe known for doing the improvised Pretty Flower format. Coffee Break took part in Montreal Improv’s Threepio tournament and also took the stage at festivals like the Del Close Marathon in NYC and the Big City Improv Festival in Toronto.
Kevin McDonald Superstar
In 2023, Sehar had the opportunity to share the stage with Canadian Comedy legend and Kids in the Hall star, Kevin McDonald as part of the ensemble cast for his Comedy Rock Opera, “Kevin McDonald Superstar.”
