The Curator (solo, 2012)
Developed through a solo character workshop in 2012 under the guidance of Kirsten Rasmussen (Band Ladies, Slow pitch, Second City), Sehar penned and starred in her inaugural one-woman comedy. The piece centred on Stella, a hoarder, living in a cramped apartment, grappling with her desperate need to conceal her secret.

Total Liquidation (2015, 2016)
In 2015, Sehar received an invitation from Lar Simms (Shadow Waltz, Gettin’ Plorpy), who had watched her solo comedy back in 2012 and was inspired to incorporate her hoarder character, Stella into a new narrative with Lar’s character, Hamhock Velvet. Collaborating closely, they co-wrote and performed in Total Liquidation. Directed and story-edited by Brent Skagford, this whimsical comedy with a touch of magical realism explored an unlikely friendship between Stella and Hamhock Velvet, and the mutual support that blossomed. The play premiered at the Montreal Fringe Festival in 2015, receiving two Frankie award nominations and earning a remount in February 2016 at Theatre Ste-Catherine.

The Kicker (2016)
The Kicker, an 80’s ensemble showbiz comedy by Vance Gillis (Mojo Comedy), debuted at the 2016 Montreal Fringe festival, featuring Sehar as Bakari, an ambitious yet naive producer’s assistant. Set to Fleetwood Mac’s score, The Kicker portrayed the backstage power struggles involving a cunning producer, leading actresses of a declining sitcom, and a meddling journalist.
